“Join with the best maintenance program for your parquet floors.”
High value parquet lacquers and care materials from Murexin ensure lustrous and robust wooden floors. The surface protection is divided into sealants and oil-wax systems. Further, there are diverse possibilities for cleaning and care which can be used.
Sealants
Principally, distinction is made between aqueous or solvent containing sealants. Aqueous systems have already been in use in Europe for some years now. These add to the natural image of the wood and are mostly single component, which makes their use even easier. Solvent containing lacquers are used for wood types which are problematic as also for critical (e.g. historical) surfaces. A further distinguishing characteristic is provided by the degree of lustre of the lacquer. Lustrous or silky-matte variants are offered according to taste.
Impregnations
Impregnations build up a minor abrasion layer, flow however deeply into the wood. This leads to a strong grain enhancement of the flooring. Because of the minimal layer thickness, the hardness of the wood is decisive.
Oil systems
Oiling a floor brings out and depicts the most original surface treatment of the wood. This long tradition as also the soft, open pored surface which oiling gives rise to make oil an especially loved maintenance and care treatment.
Cleaning and care
While there are many materials which are available for the cleaning and care of parquet floors, these can be basically divided as primary care, maintenance cleaning and base cleaning. It is important to use the appropriate product for the protection of the surface.
